Full-time freelance Translator & Interpreter with 3 years of experience in translating IT, Video Games, Websites and Digital Marketing. I have performed verbal language simultaneous interpretation in booth and I have worked with clients who need consecutive interpretation for their business meetings.

I have successfully translated over 300 documents, ranging from IT manuals to website content.

I have a good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific culture, therefore I am adept at accurately assessing the context of the document, and translating it into the most familiarized and localized way for the target readers.

I have subject matter knowledge and I am highly skilled in IT, Video games, and Digital Marketing Terminology and Processes.

I am likewise proficient in the following CAT software: SDL Trados 2019, MemoQ and Memsource. I can also work with Desktop Publishing (DTP) programs such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to provide an exact copy of the source document.

Education

I started college at the age of 17 at Universidad Central de Venezuela, the main university in my country, where I now hold the position of Assistant Professor for the second consecutive year, teaching students English and American History and Culture.

I studied Modern Languages (English, German, and Spanish) and graduated in 2020 in the specialized area of Translation & Interpreting

College provided me with great subject expertise areas of translation such as Traductology, Specialized translation (medical, scientific, legal texts, etc.), Localization, Morphology, and Syntax, among others.

I am a knowledge-oriented person and I am always eager to learn about subjects that develop my career expertise and are part of my personal interest. I decided to keep up to date my education learning about IT-related content, Digital Marketing knowledge, and localization strategies and approaches.
