🔸Job Description: The project "Biodiversity Conservation through Sustainable Management of Forests by Local Actors" was an initiative of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, co-financed by the GEF with USD 5.5 million and the Government with USD 8.5 million in-kind and USD 2.385 million in cash.

 

The project's overall objective was to improve the protection and conservation of biodiversity in the Amboró Madidi corridor through sustainable forest management, based on promoting markets for certified forest products and increasing community revenues.
